How to Shade Musicians at an Outdoor Wedding

You don't want any guests to be uncomfortable at your outdoor wedding, including the musicians you've hired to perform. Some musicians will require the ability to read sheet music or set lists and therefore need to be in a shaded area to increase visibility. There are several creative ways to protect musicians from direct sunlight that will match the theme of your wedding.

Instructions

Rent a tent or canopy and designate it especially for the musicians. Consider the number of musicians performing and place the tent near where the ceremony will take place. Decorate the tent according to your design theme.

Plan an outdoor wedding at a location with a gazebo. Set up musicians inside the gazebo, to shade them from direct sunlight.

Rent a covered stage for musicians to perform on. They'll feel right at home, and it will give your wedding the feel of an outdoor concert.

Consider giving musicians sunglasses, if you are planning a non-traditional wedding. Remember they will be wearing the sunglasses in most wedding photos.
