How to Decorate a Gazebo for a Vintage Wedding

Colors associated with vintage themes are muted and paired with off-white. Candles set a glimmer of light, and greenery -- along with flowers from the English garden -- creates a romantic feeling. A few well-placed crystals or diamante accessories add a small amount of sparkle to the vintage wedding gazebo. To achieve the tone of vintage times, stay with natural colors and traditional flowers.

Instructions

Drape white or off-white tulle around the outside of the gazebo. Tie one end to a pole with white ribbon, or with the tulle itself, then let it drape down and pull it back up to create a half circle. Attach to another pole in the gazebo with thin, white ribbon and continue in this fashion until the outside of the gazebo is decorated in tulle.

Tie large white ribbons to the areas where the tulle is tied to poles. Alternately, make large ribbons out of the tulle. Tie two large ribbons to both sides of the gazebo entrance.

Create simple clusters of traditional flowers such as roses, lisianthus and freesia with foliage placed all through the bouquet. Holding the flowers in one hand, wrap floral tape around the stems, then break them off and place the arrangement on a table.

Tie groups of flowers onto the gazebo, around the outside. Tie to poles with soft ribbon or more tulle.

Place diamante pins into some of the roses. This will create a glitter effect often associated with vintage accessories.

Place two or three candelabras with candles inside the gazebo. Light the candles right before the ceremony.
