How to Get Past the Park District in "Neopets"

Written By Unknown on Rabu, 06 November 2013 | 13.33

The Park District is the one of four areas players explore in the final act of the video game "Neopets: The Darkest Faerie." The task is to "free" pet handlers from each district around the starting point, the Park District being one of them. The main goal is hold down buttons in each area of the Park District to proceed to the next room, through the Park Shrine and free the Park District pet handler. All the buttons must be held down by other creatures so the player can proceed.

Instructions

    1

Enter the Park District. The door is marked on your menu map by two trees. Go straight ahead until you come to a gold gate. Jump on the barrel to your left and climb the balcony next to you. Follow the white lights to reach the center of the Park District.

    2

Find four small creatures in the center of the level under a gazebo, called "morthogs." Herd all four on to the round button on the ground of the gazebo by chasing them with your character. A cut-scene shows the gate ahead of the gazebo opening. Go through the gate to enter the Park Shrine.

    3

Avoid the green creatures ahead of you, called "drackobacks." They cannot be hurt by your attacks. Switch your character to Roberta and select your freeze wand attack. Freeze the drackoback when he steps on the button at the beginning of the level to open the next door. Enter the item menu and use one of your speed potions. Run through the simple maze and enter the door.

    4

Catch the creatures called "miamice" and put them in the cage in the center of the next area to proceed. Allow the evil harris creatures to chase you into the light in the center of the room to make them good. Once six are in the light, enter the next room.

    5

Herd the small "whinnie" creatures onto the buttons around the room, one whinnie per button. The Park District is now finished. Jump into the light in the center of the room to finish the level.
