A wedding ceremony that takes place in a gazebo has distinctive charm and romance intertwined within it due to the beauty and elegance of the structure itself. Whether the gazebo is modern or old world, the effect will remain and the photographs will attest to this concept. Pomanders are balls of flowers, tulle or paper and are a common wedding decor item. Decorating the gazebo with pomanders made of fresh or silk flowers will produce a lovely effect for the wedding. Using flowers that provide pops of color against the neutral color of the gazebo will frame the ceremony in a striking manner.

Evaluate the size and design of the gazebo. Discuss whether any elements can be changed. For example, if the gazebo belongs to a family member in whose backyard the wedding is taking place, they may not mind if you give it a fresh coat of white paint so it will fit better with the overall wedding theme. If it cannot be altered, make notes on how superficial decor can transform it for the ceremony. Take down the measurements for the gazebo such as height from the edge of the roof down the floor, distance between posts and diameter.
2Decide where the ceremony will take place in the gazebo and plan the decor around the central spot. Adhere one removable hook in the center of each space between the posts so a pomander can be suspended from that place. Measure a comfortable distance from the edge of the roof down to where the pomander can be hung so it will not block photographs or views inside the gazebo. Cut the ribbon hanger on each pomander to match that measurement. Hang the pomanders on their respective hooks.
3Adhere the edge of the roll of tulle from the inside of the gazebo celing directly above a post. Gently begin winding the tulle around the post ensuring it does not tighten. Cut the tulle when it reaches the end of the post and adhere it with the tape. Continue this process for each post in the gazebo.
4Wrap the lights in exactly the same manner as the tulle adhering them the same way as well. These two elements will complement the pomanders hanging from the open spaces as a feature.
