How to Hang a Battery Operated Gazebo Fan With Lights

Hanging a gazebo fan that has the light installed on it won't take much experience, but you must be careful or you could damage the lights. The mounting plate and hardware will come with the light, so all you'll need is a few basic tools. The mounting plate needs to be secured to a solid wooden stud to safely support the weight of the fan. Almost anyone can install this fan in less then 30 minutes.

Instructions

Place the fan's mounting plate onto the center stud in the center of the gazebo frame. The plate doesn't have to be level because the support hook will even the fan out once it has been mounted.

Insert a mounting screw into one of the support holes and screw it into the stud using a screwdriver. Repeat for all other mounting screws.

Place the support hook onto the metal hanger on the mounting plate. Raise the fan to the mounting hook and connect the hook to the mounting ring on the fan.
